Really enjoyed it! An episode full of pathos and much humour. LOL at Buffy entertaining the masses!
I particularly liked the way the writers handled the interaction between Spike and Buffy - I'm so glad it didn't turn into a vengeance fest - speaking of which, what will Anya decide to do...?
My only complaint is...where was Giles?? Surely he would have been invited to the wedding??

According to the shooting script, Giles sent flowers - lots of 'em - because he was stuck in England battling a daemon and couldn't get away.

I'd heard spoilers about what happened in this ep, and was once again amazed when the Buffy writers achieved the seemingly impossible by having Xander leave Anya at the altar _without leaving me no option but to loathe and despise him_. I was impressed.

On a more personal note. Being green-deficient colour blind, I thought the frocks were quite a nice shade, although the frills and the sleeves were certainly 'mareish.

I think this trend in stupid clothes has been going on for quite a few episodes. Still, at least it was quite funny.

Well, it wasn't that bad I suppose.

Loses marks for the entirely predictable way the wedding turned out, the horribly cliched use of the future flashes, Anya inviting all her demon friends despite the fact that there's been no indication of her having been in touch with any of them since 'Doppelgangland' (okay, that covers a few recent episodes), the lack of any mention whatsoever of Spikes role as 'the Doctor' last week...

On the plus side, Buffy was actually rather likeable for a change, Anyas preparations for her wedding speech were hilarious, good performances from Nick Brendon and Emma Caulfield, and last but far, far from least Tara looked very cute in her bridesmaids outfit.

I have to admit I'm glad that Xander didn't get hitched to Anya, I guess because I really dislike Anya and find her obnoxious. I did feel sorry for her in this ep, but I felt equally sorry for Xander. After the demon showed him his future and he saw himself becoming like his father, I don't think he really stood a chance poor guy.

I kind of liked this episode, bits of it were really funny Anya's vows were hilarious! I was half expecting Buffy to propose to Xander *lol* given how emotional she was getting.

Loved the Willow/Tara moments, overall a cool episode! Can't wait till the upcoming ones though!

Another good ep, although currently it only takes the slightest reference to weddings to have me getting all tearful - and there were a lot of moments like that it this ep!

I felt sorry for both Anya and Xander at the end. I couldn't hate Xander because it was so obvious that he was as hurt as Anya - he loves her as much as always, but it seems like they rushed into things. It's a big committment and it's easy to get rushed into things without really thinking about whether you're ready - and that looked like the wedding from hell anyway (even without the demons). If only they'd realised that the time wasn't right in time to postpone the wedding

Actually, I quite liked the colour and I'm pretty sure my colour vision is OK. Better than apricot any day, IMHO.

Loved this one ! OK so it was slughtly predictable, but I still loved it !

This ep had everything...comedy, drama (and it almost brought a tear to my eye - this is VERY rare you understand!) I felt really sorry for both of them. I didn't find myself hating Xander, as you could see what it took for hoim not to go through with the marriage.

Anya looks poised for some vengeance !! YAY !!

Finally got to watch this last night. And for once it was a good episode as i've personally felt Buffy was heading on the downward slide over the last few eps.. those dresses were truly horrendous at the beginning but i suppose i got kind of used to them, all the girls looked very pretty and Anya looked sensational in her wedding gown, though the veil/headpiece thing was rather yukky.

The good parts have been said already but what about:

Spike appears at the wedding in daylight!! How come??
If he hid under a blanket did he leave it outside? How did he explain that to his date?

Why was Buffy helping Xander dress when Willow was "best man" ??

What did Xander pick up to smash down on the demon? It looked like a marble pillar! If it was - where did he get the strength from to pick it up; if it was make believe plastic how did it land with enough force to kill the demon??
