Watching the clips (I knew what was coming, being a complete spoiler-fiend), the bathroom scene was very chilling. Seeing one's favourite character (even though you know that technically he's a bad guy; vampire, demon egg smuggler, etc.) attempt to rape another character is deeply disturbing, and kudos to Joss and whoever wrote this particular episode for putting us there. Not many program-makers are that brave.
Re: Balistics queries. After he'd shot at Buffy & Xander in the garden, Warren ran off shooting behind him. His arm was waving all over, so it's quite feasible that a stray shot would have gone through an upstairs window (reading the spoilers I wondered how they were going to manage that). If Willow was stood close to Tara when she was hit, (it's difficult to tell from the camera angles used) I think blood would have splashed across Willow's top.
Also, the shot of Buffy lying on the ground, her hand is across her stomach. I can't see an injury anywhere else (e.g shoulders) so I can only assume it's a stomach wound, which could kill an ordinary person.
As distinct clips, these scenes were chilling, compelling and excellently done. Can't wait to see the whole episode!
