The penultimate episode of the season.

Hmmm... wasn't sure quite how to make of it. I enjoyed it. Though i initially doubted Holtz's motives. He followed Connor/Stephen through the portal back. He explained to Connor that his place was with his father, though Connor didn't want that... he didn't see Angel as his father.

There are so many similarities between Angel and his son. The way they both folded their arms the same in the lobby of the Hyperion,his super-sharp hearing (demonstrated on the beach with Gunn and Fred), his fighting skills.. like father, like son, as Wesley pointed out to Lilah in the club. It was cool seeing them both fighting side by side.. and that shot of them standing back to back.. liked that a lot. Also liked the way the vamp was despatched of in the alleyway. Plus Connor has a nice smile.. the brief blink and you miss it time you saw it..

Groo knows there's something wrong between himself and Cordy, and that "something" is Angel. He went for that walk, but i didn't see him return..

Ooh and Cordelia glowed again... is that her "demon-skill"?.. to flood all bad feelings and evil from those she touches whilst she glows??.. hmmm... (still hate her new hair though ... )

Justine.. i really don't like her. Angel saves her in the club, and this was how she repays him???...

The confrontation between Holtz and Angel.. the reason why he took Connor from Angel.. the look on Angel's face.. hadn't it occurred to him exactly why Holtz did it??..and when he gave Angel the letter for Connor, i wasn't exactly sure of his motive then.. was his intentions genuine?.. did he really want Connor to be with his (if you pardon the pun) blood father?.. or was there more to that??.. Holtz asked Justine to kill him (as she'd said she'd do anything for him, even follow him into the hell dimension he took the baby).. she used an ice pick to pierce his throat.. twice.. to look like a vamp bite.. which Connor, upon finding him, thought was done by Angel. I believe it was deliberate. Angel thinks he's got his son back.. but obviously that's not the case.... the finale sounds promising...
