West Wing - War Crimes/Gone Quiet (episodes 5 and 6)
War Crimes: I really loved the directing. If one thing can be said, it's the directing was excellent. Did anyone else get an 'old style' feel to the episode, like it was a 60's politcal movie, not the 2002 show? I loved the scene in the rain with Donna and Cliff, it had real atmosphere and style.
Donna and Josh moments were great, the story was believable, I would panic, lie, whatever... you do feel like you've done something wrong. The Bartlet/Vice President story was good, with lots of proper points, but still, it wasn't amazing. Leo's moment, which the title referes to, was excellent. Toby really surprised me by staying calm, but still the whole, I'll stop you spreading gossip with love, was an anti-climax Still, I loved this episode, mostly for the directing
Gone Quiet: Now, I know Demona found this really funny and great, but to me, it seemed they tried to force farcial moments which weren't funny. I liked Babish and the First Lady, I liked Josh still pissed at Donna without it being spelt out, but still, this episode didn't wow me.
