Tales of the Gold Monkey with Stephen Collins from Star Trek The Motion Picture right? I remember that one, anyone remember "V"?...Jane Badler...Yum!!
Cheesy 80s Telly
I seem to watch this more than the modern stuff!
The A Team, Dukes of Hazard, TJ Hooker
Has anybody else got any nostalgic favourites?

Some Thoughts:
ChiPs ruled.
As did Heart to Heart (it was moider).
V was essential viewing.
Although Dysentry, Dallas and the rest blew chunks. I used to wear a 'I hate JR' t-shirt just to wind up my sister, who was obsessed with all those shows, and had an 'I Love JR' t-shirt.
Can't believe no one has mentioned Street Hawk.
Or Robin Hood.
Or Chorlton and the Wheelies.
Or Rent-a-Ghost.

Dysentry lmfao.... I'd forgotten about calling it that
And Chorlton and the Wheelies... *thick northern accent*.. "'ello, little old lady"

"Tonight, on MacGyver...MacGyver...MacGyver...MacGyver..."

What about MacGuyver?
"Aunt Selma has one hour to live!"
Does any one remember an episode of the A-team where they defeat the bad-guys by firing cabbages at them?
You had bad-guys with semi-automatic weapons unable to hit any of the A-team. Then the A-team fire cabbages at them, sending them flying into the air. Very amusing!
I was not allowed to watch V, it was on too late I remember everyone else talking about it but was not allowed to watch it

Got most of them on tape having finally seeing it years later, now, except for the final episode of the series as it was on a BASF tape and those all seem to have been thicker than other video tapes and more prone to being chewed up. It lost it by the time it got to the Series anywhow,
V the Mini series was great
V the final battle was pretty good (spoiled by the star child plot)
V the series was a bit weak and got cancelled
hmmm.... 80's TV...
loved Chips and absolutely adored Ponch (mmmm!)
loved absolutely everything about "V"
Dukes of Hazzard (RosCOE P. Coltrane )
the A-Team
Diff'rent Strokes (What you talk 'bout Willis? )
Perfect Strangers
ALF
MacGyer (mmmmRichard Dean Anderson.... sexy AND smart)
Who's The Boss (i hear Alyssa Milano is now dating Britney's castoff Justin Timberlake)
Knight Rider mmmDavid Hasselhoff and of course KITT
Manimal commercials scared the crap out of me (a person who could change into an *animal* creepy & chilling )
The Golden Girls were cool
Mork and Mindy (Mork from Ork hee hee)
My Mom was into Dallas and Dynasty so I wasn't
Is Saved By the Bell 80's? or 90s. I dunno. Watched it and loved it anyway. (i know Zack/Mark Paul Gosseler is on one of the cop shows now)
Neon Rider, tho not sure if that's 80s or 90s, i watched religiously and taped a LOT of the shows (mmmmmmWinston Rekert)
Katts and Dog (Rudolph van Holstein the third) god I loved that dog!
Inspector Gadget (yes the cartoon)
There's at least one station here that has mostly old shows in their programming /me goes to get the TV Guide. hmmmmm let's see if there's shows here peeps haven't mentioned.... Beverley Hillbillies, Petticoat Junction, Hogan's Heroes, McHale's Navy, MASH, nope didn't watch any of those (just writing those in so peeps can comment on them)
oooo Taxi, Cheers, All in the Family, Three's Company (good to see John Ritter on a sitcom again), all good shows.
And finally you can't get any more cheesy than The Greatest American Hero (pity about the name). Haven't seen it in years, but I still LOVE the theme song.
Maybe there's another thread here somewhere about cheesy 80's movies but Dirty Dancing is one of my favorites
As for the rest of the shows peeps have mentioned, I either didn't watch them or never heard of them.
/me goes off singing Believe it or not, I'M walking on air, I never thought I could feel so freeeeeeeeeeeee. Flying away on a wing and a prayer, who could it beeeeeeeeeee, believe it or not it's just meeeeeeeeeeeee. *sigh*
