I don't know about the 'chat room' plot, I think it was too unrealistic. He's Deputy White House Staff, of course he should know NEVER to voice his opinion in a chat room, which, by the way, was the reason they were going to fire the Surgeon's General in 'Ellie'. Though the "so far up your ass" line by CJ made it all worth while.
The Poet Laurrette was, I agree, excellent. Really nicely done by Toby and Laura Dern (Jurasic Park). Though, again she should know better than become involved in politics, which doesn't concern her.
Personally, I loved the plot involving Bartlet, CJ and the infamous 'Richie', who I notice, has been mentioned but never see, a lot!!!!!! It was devious, it was political and it was CJ, need I say more
