I don't know about the 'chat room' plot, I think it was too unrealistic. He's Deputy White House Staff, of course he should know NEVER to voice his opinion in a chat room, which, by the way, was the reason they were going to fire the Surgeon's General in 'Ellie'. Though the "so far up your ass" line by CJ made it all worth while.

The Poet Laurrette was, I agree, excellent. Really nicely done by Toby and Laura Dern (Jurasic Park). Though, again she should know better than become involved in politics, which doesn't concern her.

Personally, I loved the plot involving Bartlet, CJ and the infamous 'Richie', who I notice, has been mentioned but never see, a lot!!!!!! It was devious, it was political and it was CJ, need I say more

Of course he *should* know better, but many smart successfull people don't have any awareness of this sort of thing -- for me the whole point of this was that it was an area where Donna was 100% smarter than her boss. Like many things in this show it's a reflection on how people assume other people think/act; it's the same reason Bartlett gets pegged as eliteist -- he keeps assuming people are comparably smart and well-educated to him.

Oh I agree, it was funny, very funny. But it also felt forced and too slapstick, like CJ singing 'I'm too sexy', it felt forced. Plus, if Sarah Michelle came and posted on the board, no matter how rude or idioct her post, we wouldn't get angrey, we'd go "yeah, good point". True fans indeed.

You obviously never saw some of the flak Joss Whedon got for killing off Tara, Kieran...
