My excitement would come from the idea of an all-cgi series with substantial backing -- at some point a CGI show is going to make a *big* impact and change how CGI is perceived by the general populace, and that will result in a lot more investment and intrest in the medium.
That said, the series is bound to suck, because these sort of things almost allways do! /me hopes he's wrong though -- SW-TAS would have a better chance of succeeding than most.
