Odyssey 5 Cancelled

In a move that probably makes this the worst year for big new shows being cancelled, Odyssey 5 has been given the chop.

While i cant say i was a big fan of it, it certainly deserved a few more episodes.

Cancellation was attributed to the Showtime channel 'wanting to get out of science fiction'.

Go figure

I read as well that there are 4 more episodes which have been made which haven't been aired yet so hopefully they will neatly tie up this first (and only...?) Season of Odyssey 5 - we can but hope

Shame another show with promise has been given the axe though

Desire Girls don't like boys, girls like cars and money.

We should start a list of all the shows that have been cancelled. I bet their are *loads* that would have gotten better given the chance.

I never thought O5 was that good..I watched about the first six or seven eps but never found it unmissable...whether it would have got better *shrug*

Well, virtually ALL shows are cancelled. Shows like Next Geb where they just decide to move on, because the contracts were only 7 years are pretty rare. Either way, I've started a thread
