As far as i'm concerened ER always is - i love this programme.

ER - New Series Ep 1
So did anyone watch this...god it was great. I really enjoyed the whole smallpox story but by far the most shocking bit was when Romano had his arm cut off by the helicopter blade. I actually leapt off my chair and paced around the room as Luca and Susan tried to save him...was a really gripping peice of tv in my opinion...so anyone else??

i missed it. Did anyone die of smallpox? Did anyone die full stop? did they save his arm?

I thought it was brilliant, although I was completely traumatised by the Romano-arm-loss incident. I was in a state of total shock on the sofa with my hand over my mouth shouting "Oh my god, Oh my god....". I always knew there was something I hated about helicopters....

I have adored this show from the very beginning... and i was open mouthed in shock at Romano losing his arm, still didn't mellow him none either did it?.. and the small pox was actually a kind of monkey-pox, least that's what they all called it. And when Corday was back in England, i could've happily slapped that arrogant consultant for her!.
