Xander: I'm gonna say "Hi, Willow".

Willow: Welcome home, me.

Xander: Is he throwing a tasteful British wiggins?
Buffy: With extra wig.

Willow: Wait. Spike's what in the whatment?
Anya: Insane. Base.

Buffy: And yet my eyes refuse to look away. Stupid eyes.

Xander: And that means something because he's chock full of sanity.

Willow: I need help.
Anya: I don't have any money.
Willow: I don't want money.
Anya: Come in. Enjoy my personal space.
Willow: I found a dead body near the high school.
Anya: Yes, that can happen.

Willow: So will you help me?
Anya: Is it difficult or time consuming?

Anya: ...I can only teleport for official business. I have to file a flight plan and everything.

Buffy: She knows about viscera. Makes you proud.

Xander: ...Maybe it's a vicious skin eating cliff.
Spike: There's a cave in it. I'm insane, what's his excuse.

Dawn: Face up! Face up!
Xander: She's right. Face up is better.

Xander: Oh, you're poseable.

Anya: Stand back. You're getting your feet in her.

Willow: I'm drawing power from the earth to heal myself.
Buffy: We're on the second floor!

Buffy: I've got so much strength I'm giving it away.
Willow: Are you sure?
Buffy: Will it help?
Willow: Much.
Buffy: Good.

Nuff said!

Thought the ep was okay.
Poseable Dawn was funny.
Too much Willow torure although I read that the flesh eating scene was cut.
Yet again no mention of Tara.

according to my video it was only 37 minutes, slice and dice time in Sky's editing room.

I enjoyed the episode, Anya was great and Dawn too.
Willow was great - her suffering - even before being flayed was painful to watch

Very much so. The Willow being flayed scenes were edited a lot, as was Buffy sticking her thumbs in Gnarls eyes.

I really like this ep. Lots of humour, genuinely creepy, good acting. Classic Buffy really, and I'd say Jane Espensons best ep since 'Superstar'.

Yup, this ep gets my thumbs up for all of the reasons listed above. I definitely get the same feeling watching this ep that I got when I first started watching Buffy and reminds me why I fell in love with the show in the first place.

I love that quote!
Out of the first three eps - this one is my favourite, partly down to the humour in it.
When Spike wasn't quite as insane he had some good lines (although, i'm finding him being a little mad getting tired (even after just 3 eps)
Anya had some great lines as well - i'm really glad she's still in the series.
And the poseable dawn was so funny!

But did anyone think Gnarl reminded them of Der Kinderstod from series 2? I think it was the nose, but I reckon they were twins.

Keenangel *Fourteen phonecalls a night??!!*

Finally found the time to watch this today and although i missed the first five or so minutes (bad weather, slow car)i really enjoyed this episode. I loved the humour, and poseable Dawn.. and again James Marsters, for me, stole the show.
