I'm really enjoying season 2 of Dark Angel with the hunt on for new transgenics as well as the complication of her personal life with the introduction of a virus that prevents her from touching Logan, Max is having a tough time.
Last week's episode was my favourite so far and saw the comeback of Zach and I'm sure many female fans of the show were on the edge of their seats expecting William Gregory Lee to step back into his semi-regular role.
Zach was found hanging out with the "Spikeheads" a curious bunch of modern day scammers who adorn theirselves in piercings and spikes in the head. It appeared Zach was brain damaged from shoting himself in the head and the end of season 1 and along with a new artificial heart appeared more robot than the X5 Max knew. It looked like the story was going to have a happy ending with Zach suddenly recovering completely with the aid of nanobots. His injuries suddenly disappeared and his memory of Max and the other escaped X5s came flooding back.
However, this was not to be, when he started giving Logan the evil eye and tried laying a kiss on Max it soon became obvious that Zach had been brainwashed during his time back at Manticore to find and kill "Eyes Only". In the struggle to prevent Zach completing his task Max was forced to electricute him which erased in turn erased all the corrective work that the nanobots had accomplished.
Although not dead it became apparent that the nanobots would just correct the same brainwashing memories and the scenerio would start all over again. The only solution to this was to let Zach start a new life away from Max and hopefully his new family would create some new memories for him.
Presumably this gives Zach a chance to comeback later down the line as I would imagine that his real memories will eventually overcome the newer created ones. I hope so as that will be a battle of wits worth seeing

i think dark angel is lacking something..it's not nearly as good as season 1. Alec seems to be the only one bringing a little humor into the show

OK I guess that the fact that Logan and Max can't flirt is a bit strange, but really to base the show around that in season 2 would have been worse!
Its great to see some different storylines coming in ... ok so the show is hoping that viewers will watch based on the fact they are wondering if Logan is going to get real sick (the chickenpox scare this week was something!) or whether they'll manage to get it cured.
Oh and as for Alec, he's certainly improving from the cocky brat he was

Just to break up the girly club think i'll add a MMmmm Asha and a hubba-hubba MMmmmmm Max
I've enjoyed series 2 so far although I am a bit bored with the whole 'Max has to help every transgenic that escaped Manticore' thing. Was really looking forward to a big-bad character coming in and maybe hunting down all the transgenics or Max and Alec in particular..maybe White will start doing that now after this weeks episode?(the one with the fish..oh and how funny was Normal in that ep)

Especially when you could see Normal and Sketchy approaching Max and you realised that they'd assume she worked there

Nope. Although Rob LaBelle from First Wave (Eddy) made a brief appearance as an ex manicore doctor that was looking for a cure to Max and Logan's virus

well i'll add an awwwwwwwwwwwe to Joshua, so want one of those, he's so adorable.
Max is very Hot indeed as is alec. it was good to see Zack back, but as in all good angst ridden shows you can't have the happy ending you all wish for!
I think season two is shaping up nicely!

I wasn't enjoying this series as much as the first, but I've changed my mind as I really enjoyed the last 2 eps.
Posted: 23:06 Mar 07 2002 I think you are talking about the actor Martin Cummins, who has a very vague resembelence to Sebastian Spence aka Cade Foster(who incidently has been in one episode of Dark Angel and had an amusing story about Jessica Alba).

Is it me or is the Manticore person (forgot his name) who is responsibe for chasing down the mutants, the same actor as was in "First wave" ?
Anyway Before this he was main cast in Poltergiest the Legacy, and been in many other genre shows.
I dont think this Season is as good (too many damm mutants) anyone wanna start a bring back Llydecker campaign.
