It was ok I guess.
Buffy 7.7 Conversations with dead people
I was quite drunk when I watched this late last night, but I really enjoyed it.
I'll have to watch it again sober, but the main things I can remember are:
Spike! Back to his killing ways? With or without chip? With or without soul?
Have they really killed off Jonathon? He's been in the show since season 1, so that's a shocker!
But the best line for me was "It eats you, starting at your bottom"

I enjoyed this episode a lot, i'm really enjoying this season. Buffy's heart to heart with the vamp she went to school with, Willow's conversation with Tara via (was it Chrissie?) with that twist at the end.. yikes!!. And there was NO Xander or Anya for that matter in this week's episode.. i'm sure that's a first, an eppy without Xander.. And poor old Dawn.. that was genuinely spooky and was I the only one just a tad shocked at her face when the evil entity was throwing her around??.. slashes across her face and a rather bloody mouth??..
And Spike.. hmmmmm. I have a theory about that
Looking forward to next week

Ooooooooo Keeny ya can't just leave me with a hmmmm I have a theory on that go post it in spoilers LOL
Great ep, better than Angel this week.
Ties in with my theory about "the First" being back to it's old tricks.
Think I have a fairly good handle on Spike too...

I loved it!! I'd actually say that it's my fave ep so far this season. Probably one of my fave eps of all time.
The stuff with Dawn was really creepy and I was really freaked out by Joyce's body keep appearing on the couch. And the warning to Dawn, that Buffy won't choose her. What's that about?
The Willow and Cassie parts were really well done. Though I think it would have worked better if Amber Benson had come back and it'd been Tara instead.
Andrew and Jonathan, I loved it. Especially liked:
JONATHAN: Wish I'd have stayed in Mexico.
ANDREW: Ah, I didn't like it there. Everybody spoke Mexicalan.
JONATHAN: You could've learned it. You learned the entire Klingon dictionary in two and a half weeks.
ANDREW: That had much clearer transitive and intransitive rules, OK?

I really liked this episode, easily the best of the season so far. The scenes with Cassie and Willow were good and it ws surprising to see that character return. Buffy's conversation with her ex-schoolfreind-turned-vamp was quite good as well, though why didn't she find it strange that a newly risen vamp would stop to psycho analyse her first??
By far the best part of this episode for me had to be the return of Warren, Jonathon and Andrew though...the geek references were great (such as the Klingon thing mentioned above by Hoppy Toad) but there were so many cool Star Wars references.
Their radio call signs(Echo was the call sign used by Rogue Squadron on Hoth), "If you strike me down I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine"(Obi Wan to Darth Vader in A New Hope) and the best one..
Andrew "That boy is our last hope"
Warren "No, there is another"
Andrew "Wait, really? Who's our last hope?"
Warren "Uggh, I was just going with it, It was a thing, He's our last hope"
I was ending myself watching this, they even had similar music and lighting to Empire Strikes Back. Classic

i wasn't too keen on this episode. I felt it wasn't really an episode in itself, it was more just building up to something bigger. But i did enjoy the bits with Buffy and the vamp - that was funny.
Keeny - you weren't the only one scared with those bits about dawn - scared the hell outta me. I'm a big ol' wuss!
Was really shocked about the Jonathon dying, although i'm not quite so keen about them bringing Andrew, and Warren back. I found that storyline really good and funny to being with but by the end of the season i found it had grown tiresome.

Has he? I don't recall Jonathan being in S1. Thought he was introduced as an ocacasional, un-named character in S2.

Have they really killed off Jonathon? He's been in the show since season 1, so that's a shocker!
But, yeah, it would appear that Joss pulled another master stroke in killing off a long standing character when it was least expected. Still, we don't actually *know* he's dead yet. Or that he won't be around in later eps.
Anyway, it was a good ep all round. Agree with what others have said about the genuinely scary scenes with Dawn. Not sure what Buffy's gonna say when she sees the house has been trashed. Guess that would be pretty scary too!
I loved this episode! When I read what it was gonna be about I thought it might be a bit cheesy, but it was fantastically acted, and directed and everything really.
MT's acting was really good especially the 'No, please don't go' bit where the Joyce (or maybe not Joyce) disappeared.
Willow's talk with 'Tara' was also excellent, and showed that she'd been keeping all her feeling bottled up, it was good to see Cassie back too, even though it wasn't actually Cassie.
The ending was really effective too, with all of them on their own and the 'Can I make it right? Can I spend the night? Alone' thing. V.good.
Great to see Jonathon and Andrew back again, as well (of course).
