James Marsters was as always, extremely watchable this week. I'm still getting strong Angel-type vibes from him though, when he told Buffy that he saw all their faces etc, which is pretty much what Angel goes through with his soul. And Giles at the end, i was yelling "duck!" as the shovel or whatever it was swung around, how cruel was it to leave it like that????.
The season is definitely going back to basics this year, with Buffy back at the school, battling feelings for a vampire with a soul (bit full circle too). And when Willow, Anya, Buffy and Dawn were trying to figure out what to do about whatever/whomever was tormenting Spike, i got a strong "back in the library" vibe even though they weren't.
An okay episode, but i thought Angel was much better
