I know, i was like...finally!!!!

Was another good episode, James again, stole it for me. And what is the mystery behind the Principal.. he didn't look surprised to see Jonathan in the basement, and even buried him... interesting .....

Thought this was a good ep.
I was surprised by what happened to The Watchers Council.
I like the scene where Spike grabbed Andrew through the wall.

This episode was ok, thought ressurrecting The First from Season 3 was lame, and all this "From beneath you, it devours and morphing into that was all them, then it was a bit of a rubbish climax (unless that's totally different and i missed the whole point ) and to resurrect a vampire (ok, a "Special" vampire) i feel like being one of those Sour Skittles when i saw that, after all the speculation, it dissappointed me.

But James's performance wa excellent and i was another one who loved Anya/Xander bad/good cop thing - was pure class....awww, and Xander's face when Anya hit him!

I dont think the vampire they ressurected is the big bad, the demon that is concocting this probably needs the first as a tool for its evil, but no more its slowly moving the pieces into position.

Which screening did you see.
The Saturday 5pm screening is heavily edited. So much so it changes the story.

The Thursday 8pm one was 37.53 including titles - according to my video....

If you watch 'Amends' again, it's quite obvious that Joss was going to resurrect the idea again at some later stage. How could it not? If it was the entity behind all that is evil it had to re-appear at some stage. If this is your idea of an 'okay' ep then you are gonna be real hard to please this season I suspect.

Thought this ep, together with the Angel ep, was fantatastic! Buffy's speach at the end was not unlike a presidential type speech to the troops in that the time for reacting to apocalyptic situations was over and they needed to be proactive to deal with this. (How ironic that it mirrors the America's stance to Iraq)

This was the kind of ep that gives me goosebumps and is leading towards a barnstorming finale!!

The only citicism I have was Molly and co's dodgy 'British' accents. When will the Americans learn that we don't speak like Dick Van Dyke. I mean, what was wrong with having a Scouser thrown into the mix?

But i know what your saying, i was thinking the same, and i found i enjoyed the latest episode, and looking back, i thought there was no reason for me NOT to like it, the season had the characteristics of a brilliant season. But i think the main problem is that i've got so much work at the moment, i'm having to do it during Buffy and Angel (as well as for a few hours beforehand too). And this means i'm not able to properly watch it Which is why i think there's been something lacking this season - me properly watching it.
