Angel is brooding... and drawing a picture of the Beast. Lorne tries to get him out of it, but instead the fanged one just snarls at him to basically, leave him alone.

Oooh, and Gwen Raiden is back!!!!.. yay!!!!.

Cordelia tells Connor that Angel knows about them sleeping together.

Gunn feels threatened by Wes and Fred and the fact that they're pretty much on the same wave-length research-wise regarding the Beast.

Cordelia and Angel's confrontation.. Angel is jealous and reacts to Cordy telling him to "get over it". I liked his dark and broodiness and the pouting . And Angel in a hoodie??.. liked it a lot, makes a change from the shirts and the vee-necked sweaters.

Angel's speech to the troops was very similar to Buffy's speech to the Scoobies in tonight's entertaining eppy of Buffy

And Gwen appears at the hotel!!.. oh and i loved it when Cordy and Gwen sniped away at each other.. and i liked Gwen's turn of phrase "tell me, freak to freak..."

Still that chemistry between Angel and Gwen

Basically the Beast is executing the five totems of the Order of Ra-tet to permanently turn off the sun, which would make Los Angeles a 24/7 demon playground. And Manny is the last totem.

Gwen's apartment was amazing!, and i so want that study, all those books!!!! (okay, geek rant over )and they install Manny in a "panic room" with walls of 12" thick steel. And the Beast still manages to get him!.. after Angel and Cordelia both fall asleep!.

"Answer is among you"... they think it's Connor..

I liked the look on Angel's face after Cordy and Gwen bitched at each other and he tells Cordy that "it's nice to make you crazy for a change".. yikes!!!.

Cordelia's vision, she says she feels at though the Beast is talking to someone she's familiar with.. again everyone thinks it's Connor.

I think the episode started to heat up starting from the fight scene between the Beast and Connor, it was a cool fight, pretty good wire work.

The fang gang formulate a plan to send The Beast to another dimension.. the Beast begins the ritual and the fang gang try to stop it, Gunn, Gwen and Angel pound on it, Fred and Gunn chant. A portal is opened, the sky is dimming and the Beast goes through the portal. The team think they've stopped it. But the sky keeps dimming and the sun is blotted out. The Beast returns. Cordelia finally realises that what she's been having wasn't a vision but actually a memory, of the Beast and Angelus!!.

Now the Beast remembers Angelus (why now, i wonder)but Angel doesn't remember him. Why wouldn't he remember him?, though Wes did explain that the Beast could have somnambulistic control over him (ie, falling asleep at Gwen's, spiked drinks)

And Wes said those dreaded three words.... "We need Angelus!

A good, good episode.. i really can't wait til next week.

And the episode was dedicated to the memory of Glenn Quinn.. a nice touch
