Sounds just fine to me; the individual stories have been derirative rehashes, with the number of truly original episodes available to count in single figures, and most of them weren't up to much.
There's been some excellent episodes -- "Vanishing Point", "Dear Doctor", "Shuttlepod One", "Stigma" -- that have stood starkly out in a sea of mediocrity. Not that Enterprise is paticularly bad, it's very watchable, but it patently hasn't been going anywhere for two seasons, being content to meander along at a pace that would make one of those Boomer ships look nippy. It's got a good cast and a great concept, so it's high time it started putting them to some use.
Arc plots have revived season 7 of Buffy in spectacular fashion, and made Deep Space Nine by far the strongest Trek series. The stuff for Enterprise hasn't been covered by any previous show, and could just give the series the kick up the jacksie it's in such dire need of.
