Good news indeed.

Not only are we getting all the episodes ever made, but in the correct order too, starting with Serenity Part 1 on, according to the SciFi website, Monday 12 May at 8pm. The Sunday 7pm slot is the previous Monday's episode repeated.

I didn't enjoy the first couple of episodes I saw but I may just ask Tamara to tape this for me so I can give it a second chance in the right order...

(Otherwise I'll force her to watch Farscape re-runs )

No, it got cancelled because it wasn't getting as high ratings as the network wanted.

This may or may not have had anything to do with the fact that they showed it out of order (the pilot, 'Serenity', actually having been the last episode shown to date), kept postponing it for basketball games and showing it at stupid times (I hear in parts of the US some episodes aired around 12.30 am), and put almost no promotion into it. Not that I'm bitter or anything...

Of course, some people thought it was bad, too, but they were wrong. Seriously, not all of it was great. The start was a bit shaky, not least because not having seen the pilot, we were thrown in without knowing who any of the characters were, but much of it was great, and more importantly I thought it had the potential to be even better.

Watching the trailers they are showing on Scifi wouldnt make me want to watch it.

Ive seen the pilot and it didnt seem much good and wouldnt encourage me to see more, but ill give it another chance on scifi and see how it goes and if I can make it through them without fast forwarding through like I do with Buffy these days.

If it wasn't for the current season of Buffy being really watchable for some intangible reason, I'd say Joss lost it years ago.

Time for some fresh blood (no pun intended) to be given a chance at some new Sci-Fi imho

So who watched it last night on Scf-Fi? (repeated on Friday Night).

I was half watching it. (other half playing with me new laptop ) Probably watch it properly on Friday.
But it didn't exactly inspire me.

I saw the end...gonna try to catch the repeat but i wsn't overly impressed with what I saw...I've still got Birds Of Prey to watch as well

Admittedly I was half watching it too as I put a video in to tape it - and then found myself lucky I had as I didn't realise it went on for 2 hours

Initial thoughts were that I've got too used to the main actor being in Buffy and couldn't take him seriously in this ep (I'm sure I'll get over that ) Also in the desert when they were making the trade, they arrived on horseback with *old fashioned guns* and I kept thinking that if they had the ability to have spaceships - how come they didn't arrive on little flying scooters or something

There were also moments of "hang on is the pilot supposed to look a little like the Harper from Andromeda?" Also moments were we believed that the Captain's role was more destined for Kevin Sorbo (and not a guy who plays a main bad man )

I will try and take it more serious next time, but I really wasn't setting out to make fun of it honest!

I've been really enjoying this, the characters and situations all seemed to be unfolding nicely, up until Monday's episode, the Jane Espenson written "Shindig" which was really bad.

I like Wheedon's loyalty (and I'm enjoying seeing Nathan Fillion and Gina Torres in Buffy & Angel) but no wonder the series was cancelled when he allowed his writer mates to come up with this kinda tripe.

I caught a few minutes of this the other night, but just coudn't take it seriously after seeing Nathan Fillion on Buffy... I kept expecting him to say "Call me Caleb" any second

Ive given it another go and sorry I just cant watch the show

We try watching on a Sunday (which is supposed to be a repeat of the Monday showing) and it was the SAME ep as we had watched the previous Sunday.

Are Scifi already messing this up I wonder

Although I have to agree with JtB, I'm really struggling to find anything worth watching in this ...

He comes across as a rip-off of Harper in Andromeda - except the Harper character was more original and wittier

Sci fi channel are repeating episodes 1 - 6 (screened so far) on Sunday from 2:30pm.
