Season 1 is the best by far! It had everything from the best villain (Master), all the gang coming together for the first time and the Buffy/Angel relationship blossoming

What is your favourite season?
Question is in the subjectÂ… what is your favourite season of Buffy?
At present, mine would be Season 2. It had some naff episodes, but it also had some fantastic ones, IÂ’m also a fan of good story arcs, not single episodes and Season 2 had the fantastic Angelus arc.
The other seasons have been good and Season 3 had some fantastic episodes, but for me, the main story arc wasnÂ’t as good and didnÂ’t have as much impact as the Season 2 one.

I would have to say I liked Season 2 the best, with Season 3 as well. Like it was said, they are the best back-to-back series, and I have a reason too.
With S2, you got all of the Spike/Drusilla fun with the addition of Angel History, brewed up again by the fact that he turns evil ending it all of with a big fight with swords!!
Then in S3 it started off slow with Buffy moping about Angel, but soon picked up with Angel's return and then a new slayer with Faith on the scene, and whole big battle ending off with large explosions, so what could be better!!

Each series has its highs and lows but i think series 3 just edges it over 2 for me.
And Angel series one was great - 2 was superb and 3 keeps getting better!!!
