I thought this was really good although a bit predictable...I just knew that Faith was gonna wake from her coma just in time to stop Conner from staking Angel/us. Was a bit creeped out when Cordy had the knife in the bed and was gonna use it on Willow. I thought Willow's interaction with the group was interesting as well..her and Fred just seem so similar and when she was talking to Wes I thought you could see a bit of their real life spark coming through but maybe that was just me. All in all a good episode and another good ending.
Angel Season 4: Episode 15: "Orpheus"
Named after the drug that Faith took which spiked her blood which in turn knocked out Angelus.
Interesting episode. I liked it a whole lot.
The fact that Faith did what she did to ensnare Angelus, and that it worked. And the fact that she took more of it than necessary to do the job and wasn't expected to live. But she did.
Cordelia is manipulating Connor so openly now, and the idiot can't see that. Can't he tell that she's just so different from the usual Cordelia. Plus she blames her bad moods on "pregnancy hormones".. heck if i'd been like that my hubby would've had me committed!!
The flashbacks were cool. Angel came over from Europe via Ellis Island in 1902. (We are seeing these flashbacks a bit like A Christmas Carol with Angelus and Faith along for the ride). In the 1920's, Angel is in Chicago and he saves a .. puppy!!. And okay, those wigs are truly, truly horrible.. Angel in the Seventies??.. i couldn't stop laughing.. that wig was horrendous, and it wasn't even the worst one (final one just stole it i thought). And Angel went to Manilow concerts??? yikes!!.
Loved the battle between Willow and Cordelia.
Faith saves a now ensouled Angel from being staked by Connor and he (Connor) gets that long overdue butt-kicking!.
And WTF was Cordelia wearing???

any episode with faith in is gona be cool. but i really liked the idea of an enchanted drug, making you relive your worst moments, your own personal hell.
Cordy's getting creepier and creepier but ive got a theory that when she left the higher place, another higher being tagged along in her and that is why when she first came back she'd lost her memory as the other entity was vying for control. that other entity saw an oppertuntiy in Conner's affection towards Cordy and used it to make them, via the beast, end up having (end of the world) sex. by making an ex higher being pregnant by Conner (who isnt exactly normal) it gave the other higher being the opportuntiy to become coporeal, and getting to the point, thats whose doing all the evil mojo, and will soon come out into the world as the real evil presence!: thats my theory anyway

Thought this was a good ep.
I liked the interaction between Willow and Team Angel.
It was good to see Willow acting more like her old self complete with Willowbabble.
It was interesting watching Faith and Angelus in that weird coma dream.

Nice ep, loved the Willow/Fred and Willow/Wesley interactions. I tape the eps for Skyless friends and was mildly narked at having to edit out 3 references (2 ads during Buffy + the "guest star..." title in the Angel credits) to Willow, grrr...
Cordy's starting to get annoying. Connor's all ready so far beyond annoying it's not credible.
I think it's safe to assume that the Buffy and angel schedules on Sky are one week out of synch

Yeah, i too thought i could see that but thought i might've just been imagined.

Really liked this episode too - the puppy incident was great and the Manilow concerts lol
The Evil Cordy and Connor thing was a bit too obvious for my liking, they prolly had to do it that way but i did prefer it when she wasn't so obviously evil.
The Faith and Angel interaction was really good and it was cool to see Willow there.
Generally, really liked this episode a lot (although, i felt sorry for my mum, she hardsly got to see Buffy and Angel because people kept ringing up and wouldn't stop talking to her so she missed two great eps)
I'm far too knackered to make much sense at the moment but it was a very good ep and it was nice to see Faith doing her stuff and to actually smiling and being happy at the end of the ep.
I have lots of other thoughts which I can't put into any sensible order but it was a fab ep.
And after seeing VK give a great, and very funny talk, at End of Days, I'm even warming to Connor now (shock, horror!!
