I must have something to say about this episode...

my favourite part was the scens of the new potentials all over the world feeling the new power especially the girl whose being abused by a man and suddenly grabbing the fist coming at her. loved that little bit.

Buffy's plan to make every Potential a Slayer was, as Joss has said, a wonderful feminist message, and damn cool to boot. Was shocked by Anya's death and especially Spike's "death": considering what I've read about Angel next season, watching how they respond to that will be interesting to say the least! His "Oh *******s!" line was hillarious, and it was surprisingly touching when Buffy said she loved him, and Spike replied "No you don't, but thanks for saying so."
As they entered the school you saw Spike throw off a blanket he had over the top of him.

Some gripes (wouldn't be BtVS without them) -
How did Spike get to the school in broad daylight?
I share your feelings to some extent. But to have waited for every vamp to have been slain by the Slayers would have dragged on a bit! Maybe they could have kept fast forwarding into the future to show an ever decreasing and tiring band of Slayers whitling down scores of vamps. But somehow we have always had a checks and balances situation where each threat has been evened out by some force for good.

I thought this was quite weak to be honest. The ending was a bit easy to say the least. I mean c'mon, Angel turns up with an amulet thingy that obliterates nigh on every ubervamp? Gimme a break.
Know what you mean.

I laughed. I cried.
Mostly I cried.
