I used to love MacGuyver....it's so cool...really cool theme tune...I can't remember any episodes off-hand although I do remember one that had fire ants as the baddie..it was weird.

Always loved MacGyver. Thought it was a really interesting premise--that the guy never uses a gun, but uses his knowledge of science to rig things together to get out of jams. They've been showing reruns of it on a cable station here for a few months and I've been looking at the episodes when I can. Some of the writing isn't great, but it's entertaining. I hear there's talk of a movie and possibly a series--not with Richard Dean Anderson, but with someone who's supposed to be MacGyver's nephew or son playing the title role. Anderson is supposed to guest star in it as the old MacGyver character.

You cant see me but im jimping up and down here wahoo.

Personally I think they should get RDA on the Simpsons as the part is so set up for him and he is a big fan.

Yeah! I forgot about the theme tune, one of the best ever!

Bizzarely, the first episode is credited as directed by Alan Smithee, not THAT bad surely!

AND one of the regular guest stars was an Elyssa Davalos, any relation to Angel's Alexa Davalos I wonder?

Another fact is that McGyver bosses body double was none other than Don S Davis General Hammond from Stargate. And Christopher Judge(tealc) also appeared in an episode.

And Mcgyvers first name is Angus

Great memories...

Macgyver saving a nuclear power station from meltdown using the metal lined wrapper of his chocolate bar, an episode that so shamelessly stole the plot of the movie Juggernaut it was untrue and possibly my favourite Simpsons lines of all time:

'Thank you for saving our village Senor MacGyver'

'Don't thank me, thank the moon's gravitational pull.'

Aww hell, don't make me start having to download the episodes
