Enjoyed this episode...was good to see Buffy getting it together at the end of the episode, hoping that Kennedy isn't going to end up a smudge on those cave walls though How good did she look in her night clothes...lucky Willow

Yup, I agree. Much better ep than Angel this week. Like last season, I feel Angel has kinda lost it's way towards the end of this season but that's by the by......

Anyway, like the nice touch of the bomb at the end. And, yeah, nice to see Spike and Buffy finally share an actual loving moment cuddled up on the bed. But, also, a sign of how desperate, and apocolyptic, times have got when Buffy shows no emotion kicking that man out of his house.

And, of course, Buffy comes to the rescue again as we all knows she will. As much as she winds us up lately, she's still a heroine who kicks butt when required.

Great to see Harry Groener again!! Brings back memories of how good S3 was and what a great Big Bad he was. Evil, but with such a great sense of pathos!! You could visibly see how jittery it made Faith to see him again, even if she knew it was the First.

And I got goose pimples when she went to snatch the Scythe from Caleb and rang rings around him. Go Buffy!!!

Thought this was a good ep.
Sky edited a lot out of the Willow and Kennedy bedroom scene.
Liked the cliffhanger with Faith finding the countdown timer.

I liked this episode. Next thing you know you'll see John Woo directing the finale with some doves, 2 guns and a load of slow mo

Can't help but think all the potentials and Faith don't all make it out.

And on the subject of Faith...That bed shot was awesome! Good to see someone get some wood

Hiya. I know this should probably be in the Books and comics forum rather than here, but I didnt want to post any spoilers there for non Sky viewers. I don't know if many people here have read the Fray comic, written by Joss Whedon, but if you have then you will know what I mean when I say I recognise that Axe/Scythe thing Buffy found in this episode! Fray also gives some interesting insights into the end of Buffy, too. It should be released in graphic novel form, anyway, after the last issue comes out. Recommended reading for Buffy fans!

They already did that several times in Angel starting in 4.7 Rain of Fire, where Wesley goes all slo-mo

I was actually very disappointed. Most of the episode felt like filler to me. The bedroom scenes were overplayed and I think that Willow and Kennedy have the least chemistry of any couple ever.
There were also some pretty glaring errors in it. Am I really the only person to think that Season 7 has been a bit... well... dumb so far? Gratuitous Spike love-fest mainly.

Excellent episode

Highlights for me were Spike returning to the house, Spike giving Buffy the pep talk, all the simultaneous "grappling" going on except most notably between Buffy and Spike - who seemed to share an actual intimate moment for once, and then Buffy running rings around Caleb. Awesome

I think it was good to see the reactions of the Scoobs on what might have been there last night together. Also it counterpointed the moment between Buffy and Spike.
I tend to agree that the Kennedy/Willow spark just isn't there. Tara you are missed!

Can't agree with the dumb bit.

I must admit I loved the Mayor, he was a crazy but witty bad guy with panache

However, Caleb scares the living hell out of me - I'm constantly afraid that he's going to break arms or rip guts out or poke more eyes out or something!
