Angel Season Four Finale: "Home"

What an episode!!...

Team Angel receive the offer of a lifetime from Lilah.

To take over at Wolfram and Hart (LA office only though)

Connor is completely lost. He feels absolutely nothing.

For a moment i thought the offer would be refused. But i was wrong, curiosity got the better of them. and LOL that Lorne would be in the limo first.

That final scene between Connor and Angel was just fantastic, so powerful and emotive. My heart was in my throat at the pain, the sheer agony in Connor's eyes when he told his father that he felt nothing. That he was angry at his father for letting Holtz take him away and not do anything about it. The agony in Angel's eyes was heart rending to see also. And did he kill Connor?.. my take is that he made a deal with Lilah that if he did, that his new resources at W&H would make sure that Connor got a normal family life, and he did. It was nice to see Connor smiling and happy and the look on Angel's face was enough. I had a huge lump in my throat when the titles came up.

The mind boggles at the possibilities for Season Five Angel. I can't even begin to get my head around it. All i can say is bring it on!!!

The_Host The concept of 'All-You-Can-Eat' buffets has always appealed to me.

Be interesting to see what the new season has to offer, particular re Gunn.

And didn't the actor who played Fred's science guy(de) also turn up in 'Conversations With Dead People'?

Thought this was a good ep.
Like the new look W&H.
Interesting to see what will happen next season with Team Angel working there.
Was great to see Lilah again.
A good finale.

Callum Bianca loves you

Vastly stronger ep than the Buffy finale.

Very interesting direction to take, definately looking forward to see how the show, and the Buffyverse in general, develops next season.

For the second season in a row they've set it up so that it's easy for CC not to return, and one presumes that likewise Conner is more-or-less out of it.

Given the way this ep played out if CC is out of the show then Lilah's a viable alternative to electro-girl as replacement regular girl on the show.

And then, of course, there's Gunn -- what's up there? Maybe, it's not Gunn anymore (at least not now), or maybe he's been made an offer regarding his sister or Fred, there have been several points in the last season-or-so where he's questioned his value to the team -- he adds muscle, but what else? This is clearly what they're playing on, and given that he was the first person to suggest they take the offer I expect that this is what W&H have recognised in him -- a readyness to do "what works" in Watcher styleee.

Acker No power in the 'verse can stop me.

I liked it. Did anyone notice how dark the ep seemed to be? As in, in the way of lighting, like even more so than normal?
And Lilah back! Yay! I love the idea of her being a regular as well. I reckon Gwen might be as well, 'cause they've gone back to having only one girl (Fred, originally it was Cordy) and they need some more.
