now that could be interstin!
Angel's 100th
Doesnt seem that long does it, but sources current suggest both Cordelia and Lindsay will return in a reality warping 100th episode!

Well Mr McDonald has just shown up (though his suit hasn't!) in the final few seconds on episode 8, "Destiny" (incidentally an absolute standout, and the first indication this season will actually have anything apporaching a direction), so we're just waiting on Cordy now. Though to be honest, the once-great character was such a trainwreck by the time she departed I'm not getting too worked up over that one.
I just read the wildfeed for it. It's www.buffy.nu/article.php3?id_article=3170
if anyone wants to read it who hasn't yet. It looks like it's gonna be really good. I can't wait to see it. But the ending is so sad.
It's the first of the original Buffy cast to have actually properly died. It's bad bad bad. But I guess it's better than leaving her in a coma, and apparently she's gonna be more like the old Cordy in this ep, so it should be really good.
I'm not sure if I wish she had a proper death scene or not though.

Very strong episode.
I knew they were gonna drop *something* at the end of the episode, and guessed it had to involve Ms Chase, so her demise didn't come as that big a shock, but it was surprisingly affecting for a character who's been out of sight for a season and a half (it was of course *evil* Codry last year). Charisma Carpenter put in a great performance, and there were some top-dollar fisticuffs, including a Highlander-worthy swordfight, with the returned Lindsy. But to be honest I wasn't all that caught up in his scheming, I was more interested in Cordy's return to the fold, and it brought lots of winning character moments, including the long-anticipated kiss with Angel. The final reveal was played just right.
But I don't think it was the instant classic it's already being called: the Lindsy plot never really gripped me, and I knew Cordy was only back for a single episode, so it felt like it was self-conciously "special". Episode eight is still my absolute favourite of the season, and episode eleven, with its clever use of the Buffy mythology and intelligent approach to the different natures of Angelus and Spike's evil, a strong second.
I hope now that Lindsy has been sucked down the mystical plughole of Wolfram and Heart we're going to get a proper arc plot worked out quickly!
