Farscape is great- discuss!!!
I absolutly love this show! i followed it from the very beginning even when others said it had 'muppets ' in it! it has some of the best written stories and characterisation, with 'real' aliens (thats where the puppetry comes in) non of that pasty head stuff here!
Plus they've picked some great characters who look rather special in tight leather! ie Chricton and Aeryn!
the plots have enough angst to keep any Buffy fan happy and the humour is very dark and ...british! due to the aussie influence.
i recommend if you haven't watched it yet to check it out

I'm afraid that all I have are some from the beginning of the season and the last 2 episodes, so I have copied the last 2 and have given the tape to Spikeo.

Well, I watched Farscape from the beginning, got a bit bored with the Zhann Themed eppys so stopped watching. From there on I watched it in bits, never really being sure of where I was. The BBC kept chopping and changing when it was and so on so I missed quite a few episodes... and came back to the last 4 eppys of Season 3 which were great. And yes! They finally got rid of Zhann which was the main reason I didn't watch it - she really got on my nerves at times.
As for pilots of Episodes, the best I've seen is that for Buffy. Farscapes first episode was good, and had a fairly interesting concept but I never could get my head around WTF they all understood each other - until this year when I saw an eppy that explained it to me.

Do you always judge a show by it's first episode?
Actually since I don't get much "TV Time" if a show doesn't impress me the first time, I tend not to tune in again. Most of the shows I watch are becuase other people have recommended them to me
But yes, I agree, you can't really tell much from the first episode, but I think its like a good book, if the first page doesn't grab me I don't buy it!
