Better than Channel 4 or 5 getting it & putting it on at stupid o'clock or cutting it for an earlier showing

Sky One gets 24 season three...

That pretty much sucks....they're not gonna stick to the ad schedule defined in the series, and no way are they gonna show it in widescreen - just look at Dead Like Me, which has a quarter of the picture missing....
And the reason Sky's viewer ratings has dropped is that Buffy ended, and they have yet to start Angel S5....

Posted: 11:04 Dec 19 2003 Yep. Angel is the only one of those that's always shown letterboxed (since season 3 anyway) in the US, though.

Egh? Dead Like Me has been shown in widescreen (16:9 to be exact) from the start. SkyOne went widescreen months ago.

I get sky one on NTL cable, and that's 4:3
E4, BBC & the rest are all widescreen, but not Sky1

Posted: 15:45 Dec 24 2003 Very odd, I also get SkyOne through ntl, and it's most definitely widescreen (not only are all the short fat people gone, the logo's in the middle of the screen!).
