A lot of the so called 'spoilers' for the Angel finale have been suggesting that the season, and indeed the series, ends on a cliffhanger.

Joss Whedon has gone on-record in an interview saying "I wouldn't do that."

So... are the spoiler-heads just plain wrong, or is Whedon telling fibs so that he can surprise people who already think they've been spoiled?

I know which i think is more likely...
