Sabretooth v Darth Vader - I wonder if a lightsabre can cut through adamantium?? Even still I think with the power of the Force, Vader will be able to choke the life out of Sabretooth in short order.

Wolverine v Magneto - I'm sure one of the geeks will correct me *looks at Ming* but I think Magneto has to take this. I doubt Wolverine on his own could defeat Magneto.

Spike(souled) v Blade - Going with the vampire hunter here..Blade's not going to half-ass the job like a certain blonde slayer.

Faith v Sydney Bristow: Faith has experience kicking the crap out of demons and people with fancy super-powers, and has one herself. Syd doesn't. Shame, really...

Magneto isn't often the killing type when it comes to x-men, so the fact that Wolverine survives the battles isn't significant (because for that matter, so does Magneto). Really, with an adamantium-laced Wolverine (which is the version assumed thus far), he doesn't stand a chance. Rip the adamantium from his neck, and chop his head off (being the most reliable, convetional way to kill healing-factor mutants, I believe).

Wolverine v Magneto | Yes I know Magneto is the man that can bend metal. But after all those relativly easy wins and the idea that he can easily win from wolverine (due to his skeleton) will make him careless. Also he likes to play with his victims. Wolverine will take advantage of this and will strike when Magneto when magneto thinks he already has him pinned.

Spike (souled) v Blade Vampire | Against vampire hunter. Tricky one. Blondy won't have an easy one in this round but he'll come out the victor. He did kill a few vampire slayers in his time. He's nothing like the vampires Blade is used to face which will certainly throw him off.

Faith v Sydney Bristow | Sorry Sydney I has already voted you on the last one but you got through anyways but this time you are going down girl! No way you can beat super slayer power! Go Faith!

Sabretooth v Darth Vader - Vader wins this....Just! He's a bit cut up and in need of a spot of maintenance, but he kicks the stone cold killers ass!

Wolverine v Magneto - Wolverine. Magneto has pulled the metal out of his body before. All that happened was that Logan became harder to kill because the metal kept his healing factor slow. Without the adamantium, wolvie goes ferile and there is nothing but a messy puddle of Magnus.

Spike (souled) v Blade - Blade. If a vampire eating reaper couldn't beat him, then blondie bear certainly couldn't.

Faith v Sydney Bristow - Faith. She's just nuts when she gets going!

Sabretooth v Darth Vader - I'm not sure whether a lightsabre can cut through adamantium, but I know that adamantium is fairly good at cutting through people. This would be a very close fight, Creed is just as vicious as Vader, and close in probably a better fighter, afterall its very hard to use the force when you've just had your spine gouged out!!!, but in truth I don't think it would get that far, and I think the outcome would be inevitable. Just as the duel between Luke and Vader in TESB, you knew from the setting and the music that there was only one outcome.

Wolverine v Magneto - This one was answered very recently, back in New X-men 150 so there's really no need to vote on this (lots of people haven't studied have they!). Wolverine just killed Magneto. That makes the score card 1-0 in Wolverine's favour after the previous fight resulted in a 1-1 draw, (X-men 25 and Wolverine 75) with both combatants pretty much out for the count.

Demona's right, Magnus isn't really a killer; not like Logan is. That would be his downfall. Magneto could have killed Wolverine at any time he wanted in their long history, but his heart's not in it. He ripped out Wolverine's skeleton back in issue 25 AFTER Wolverine had mortally wounded him, in retaliation, retribution or revenge, not as a premeditated attack.

Spike (souled) v BladeI envisage this as a quick fight. Spike had always been a second stringer, whether to Buffy or to Angelus or to... Blade has at least equal strength, skill, speed with far less of the vulnerability... ie he's the Daywalker. He also has a huge batman-esque arsenal of sharp pointy weaponry designed purely for the sole (pun intended) purpose of killing vampires.

Faith v Sydney Bristow - CIA training is good, but I don't think that Syd has the brute strength to take on a Slayer.

Surely we are matching powers/skills? Matching characters pretty much rules out any good characters winning, because they wouldn't have it in them to kill. It also means that some pairings simply wouldn't happen, because they'd have no reason to harm each other: Daredevil v Angel, for instance.

Surely we have to assume a death-match situation regardless of the characters of the individuals involved?

Even if we're not talking death-match, no-one can get near Magneto if he doesn't want it: In UXM #304 Magneto freezes the entirety of the x-men, x-factor, and x-force simultaneously by gripping the iron-fibres in their blood (hey, it doesn't have to be good science to be what marvel says). In the same issue he forces Wolverine's claws to retract and pushes him away when he tries to attack.

In New X-men #150 Magneto has been hit by Phoenix, Weapon 13 and Cyclops before Wolverine gets a crack at him, and after Magneto has given up and begged for death. Cheating a bit, methinks.
