It's also the night of the new series of Charmed - 8pm on LivingTV
Sky One gets a busy Thursday!
Starting Thursday 13th January, it looks like I have 3 hours of Sky One to sit in front. Anyone care to join me for the following shows:
8pm - Las Vegas
9pm - Cold Case
10pm - Rescue Me
I really enjoyed both the first series of Las Vegas. There were some good storylines as well as interesting interaction and character building.
Cold Case was a fantastic series, I really liked the format - although it does make you wonder if they crack any current crimes in that precinct
I'm not pulling away from the scifi related shows - but at this rate these will be the only types of programmes left on tv that I find worth watching (with all the shows getting pulled )
Rescue Me is a new series following a fireman coming to terms with events and personal life following 9/11.
I can't understand why Sky One have decided to cram all these new series into one night when Las Vegas had a 9 or 10 pm slot last year which seemed to suit it nicely. Certainly I'll have to tape it as I don't get home until halfway through
Surely there was enough room to slot at least one of these shows onto Wednesday or Friday - or heavens forbid a Sunday night!!

I think it's kind of a tradition with them.

They always seem to have done this (at least for the past few years I've had cable) - I remember watching Buffy & Angel back-to-back on the same night; there was a night when I was watching Jake 2.0, something else (I can't remember as it was early last year) & then Cold Case well into the night.
I think they see it as a way to keep viewers hooked - if they're watching on enew show, they're more likely to stay tuned for the next new show...just a theory.
