Unfortunately, like so many other shows (*ahem* Damn you Showtime!!), Tru Calling was cancelled. It was canned after six eps had been filmed for S2.

I've had a search online while at work today and the only thing I can find is that Fox have confirmed they will be showing those six S2 episodes. I can't find anything to suggest the show has been picked up by anyone to complete the second season or anything beyond that.

Well, the first 4 episodes of the second season have aired in New Zealand of all places, and as a result they have appeared in all the usual places if you fancy getting hold of them

It would appear that the Region 2 DVD release of the Tru Calling is going to include the 6 Season 2 Episodes as well, so you'd only have to wait for the 9th May release date to see them

i wish they hadnt cancelled tru calling, as i realy liked it. i also know of a lot of other people that like it as well. do you think we could start an online petition or something and send it to fox to show them how many fans the show has if so i would sign it.

I think there already is one. I think you need to go to one of the Tru Calling fansites. Do a search on Google and I'm sure you'll come across the same one I did

I actually really liked it, certainly the potential that built up to the end of the first season had me hooked. I was looking forward to seeing how the characters of Tru, Jack and the history with her Mum & Dad would evolve.

I'm worried that the 6 episodes that were done will be very hasty in trying to wrap everything up all at once like a steamroller. This was exactly what happened with Dark Angel (rest its wonderful soul ) - the rushed wrap up seemed to skip storylines of options which were properly originally expected to be stretched and developed over a whole season

Sam - the six eps filmed weren't a hasty wrap up. As far as I know, the show was just cancelled after the sixth ep was finished, so the show would have just been left hanging.

Meh I'm going just hate that more then

how disappointing was 2.06 - twas the night before christmas.

At least we have Alias, Lost, Medium, House and CSI
