I really liked In a Mirror, Darkly Part 1. In recent years (and not so recent years), sci-fi shows have redone alternate-universe stories to death. Trek itself has rehashed it's alternate universe many times.
But, the way it's been done here, by just setting two episodes in the alternate universe, and actually producing an alternate-Enterprise tv show, worked very, very well.
The actors in Enterprise are all good, and when the writing is good the show is very good, which is what this ep was. Loved the brutality and militarism in the Terran Empire, a stark contrast to the Federation.
My favourite scene was the alternate first contact, with Zephram Cochran killing the first Vulcan to step foot on Earth. Great stuff.
I'll be very interested to see what you think of part 2.
