Well just as well I would never touch the Sun

For those who haven't already seen it, stay away from page 23 in The Sun today - it's completely loaded with spoilers that you should avoid like the plague
Lost Discussion Thread - up to episode 16 (Channel 4)
So Lost finally starts on Channel 4 tonight. It's one of the most eagerly awaited shows to make it across the Atlantic in years (well so people tell me at least!).
I'm going to have to tape it unfortunately as I'm out tonight, but I'm looking forward to it after all the hype.
Is there anyone else who is looking forward to this?
PS: For those of you who have seen it already, please don't post about anything that hasn't been shown on Channel 4. Ta

Me neither. The 'wife' told me so I could warn people at work

Thanks for the warning, I've been meaning ot look on there for a while. I started watching that Lost Revealed documentary thing until it started showing stuff that hadn't been shown yet, then I turned very quickly over.

I got spoilt by the IMDB cast list, so i suguest people dont look at it.
I didn't know anything about E4, but I see from the Guest Appearances for
"Lost" (2004) section of IMDB, that the 'Walkabout' ep on E4 on Sunday follows Channel 4's 'Tabula Rasa' on Wednesday, so E4 is slightly ahead. Assuming they're not edited, I'll switch to E4 from Sunday.
Funny, I can't see a repeat on C4 this Saturday. Maybe that was only for the two-parter pilot, especially the way it was edited...

Apart from the fact that the photo is the only spoiler as the write up is completly wrong.

I'm not a Sun reader (I only ever touch it when the cheapo holiday offers are on) so I haven't seen the article myself, though having been told about one thing it shares I'm led to believe that they did give other spoilers (though without mentioning character names)... pardon me for trying to give people a heads up

Hang on, you telling everyone it's completely wrong is as bad as the Sun trying to give the game away in the first place! lol You're still telling people what does/doesn't happen!
In any case it makes no difference to me, I was one of the first of our lot to start watching it last year so they'd be hard pushed to spoil me on S1
Touchy! You on the blob? I didn't see it as JtB having a moan at ya

I kinda made the mistake of watching the 'behind the scenes' show after the repeat of the first three eps on E4 Sunday night.
But still looking forward to how the season pans out.

No, I'm not but I still inferred his comment differently and since when was a a rebuke? You need to polish up on your argument skills

You need to know when someone is arguing

I've just re-watched the first two episodes ('cos Chris wanted to see them ) and I noticed two things.
Firstly, in the three flashbacks the difference in time between when they first hit turbulence and when the oxygen masks came down was different each time.
Secondly, when they shhot the polar bear the Hetty Wainthrop bloke says that what killed the pilot was much bigger (or something to that effect), but when they'd got back from the cockpit earlier they didn't mention the pilot.
I dunno if they're significant or just continuity errors.

Hehe, *proud* on E4 in one of the Lost ad breaks they had an advert for my uni
*geek*
I find it bizarre that IMDB has banner adverts for Liverpool Uni!
I think I know the spoiler you are talking about, cos it spoilt me too

Nope, I was judging the casting director on their apperance.

But by making the original comment you are judging people by there appearance.
Getting back to the episodes, I watched episode 4 on E4 last week but re-watched most of it on channel 4 again.
I really enjoyed following Locke and his flashbacks. But now I'm mostly convinced that they are in some middle ground, dreaming, or dead.
Although we don't know yet what put Locke in the wheelchair, I would imagine it would be very unlikely that following a plane crash after finding your toe twitching that you'd be able to get up and start wondering around. He wouldn't necessarily have the muscle strength for that !
However, in dream state it is easy for those with disabilities to imagine being the way they want to be - walking, running, jumping - so that could be a possibility.
When he was talking to Helen, I just knew he was talking to a chat-up line operator
But I'm intrigued at the "monster" heading towards Locke - he clearly looked at it (if it exists at all...) and came out alive.
This is the first episode that has left me genuinally interested. I have watched episode 5 on E4 this week, but won't utter a word on that yet

So who's still watching this? I've caught up after being away and am quietly intrigued at what's going on. Chris (my housemate, who has seen them all) keeps on dropping hints about what to look out for.
I ordered the DVD for the first season online. Hmm can't say to much about the show as its being shown on RTE and the first season is almost done. I have to say that I am loving the show so far.
