There are far too many new channels and nowhere near enough good shows. There's a reason why Channel 4 and E4 are still showing multiple Friends episodes everyday. They just don't have the programming to fill up their schedules.
More ITV / Channel 4 spinoffs to launch
ITV has revealed it will be launching ITV4 which will aim for a young male audience, ITV3 has apparently been an amazingly successful launch.
Meanwhile, Channel 4 are soon to unveil More4, which is aiming for a 'highbrow' audience, and claims that it will launch with a raft of new programming far more ambitious than other recent spinoff channels.
Is this getting out of hand or is it me???

One would have thought they'd want to concentrate on sorting out the repetetive trash on their existing spinoff channels first, but then I remember it is ITV we're talking about.
At least they show different episodes. I swear ITV2/3 have shown Rain Man a good 10 times in the past month. Now I love a good mawkish supercrip tale as much as the next man, but enough already!
