I'm not a rabid fan of Lost, but I have watched and enjoyed a lot of the episodes. Have to say I had been looking forward to last Wednesday's premier and I wasn't disappointed.
I'm not a deep thinker where this show is concerned. I sort of take it as it comes. So I enjoyed the suspense of wondering what is in the hatch. And I was really intrigued by what they found. I have no idea where this is leading--which is good. Sometimes you can see the resolution a mile off. But I'm really eager to see the next episode this Wednesday.
As for Desmond, again, I have no idea what the deal is with him. I'll say one thing though. That "deserted" island is turning out to have a pretty large population. "Others," people living in hatches, people living in shacks in the woods, other plane survivors that we didn't know existed until now. A lot of people clearly know that island is there. So it's even more bizarre that no one has found the plane or even looked for survivors there. Well, that's weird anyway. In reality, that plane would have been found long ago. But, hey, then we wouldn't have a show.
