Well I cant say I was surprised. All indications pointed to this being the worst of the crop of the new spooky themed shows, and it managed to live down to my expectations.

Sadly the show seems to fail on all points, there isnt a single memorable character in the whole show, any one of them could easily be dropped into a daytime soap and noone would notice. There isnt a single witty line, or attempt at humour of any kind, whether they thought this would destroy the dark atmosphere I dont know, but it only compounds the plodding lifeless feel.

So then, it has to rest on its storyline. Except thats unbelievably dull too. Of all the things they could come up with, the Devil Dogs feels like something The Xfiles migh just have done in its final season, when it was really desperate, and this is the FIRST EPISODE!

If this isnt the first to be cancelled, then theres no justice!
