I always think it's cool how you make "chatting to Channel 4" or "meeting {insert celebrity name here}" sound so normal. Your whole life starts to sound like a big convention

Well, I had heard rumours that they were going to show S2 eventually. They've had the rights for ages and the only other theory I could come up with was that they were deliberately preventing the Beeb putting it with Buffy.

I guess the big question now is 'when?'

Leaving it as long as they have (with DVDs out soon) means that all the dedicated viewers will have already seen it, so if they actually want any ratings I'd think they're going to need to give it a decent timeslot and advertising campaign. Or they may just stick it on in the middle of the night and not tell anyone, you never know with those whacky C4 schedulers...

Still, if anyone who hasn't seen it would like to, I'll have some very attractively priced VHS boxsets available in about 3 weeks.

It's no biggy. I used to spend half my life visiting, or chatting on the phone to, TV stations when I was in broadcast PR. It's just another job, when all's said and done. All that's different is that your mother might have sometimes heard of the people you deal with.

Of course, if you're really an insider you don't have to ask 'so what's happening with...' because you already know. (And I'm not even going to pretend that applies to me. )
