Threshold's been cancelled?!!

My bf is not going to be happy

and damn...I was just getting into Alias (waiting for third season on DVD...come on santa!)

A lot of really good shows are getting canned because a big part of the demographic doesn't want shows that actually require them to use their brains. If we aren't careful we'll end up with Reality TV and Soaps only....

Or an HBO subscription.

I see a rumour on the 'Threshold' page discussion board at IMDB that Sky might pay to keep 'Threshold' going, though. Apparently, they're vexed that shows which perform very well for them get axed at source, and are going to do something about it...

'I remember reading that Sky were interested in getting into co-production because two of their biggest hits (Jake 2.0 and Tarzan) were cancelled and they had no say in the matter.

They got involved in production specifically to have a say in keeping hit shows going.

Battlestar Galactica, as it turns out, did not need their intervention to keep it going.

But, now, maybe Threshold will reap the benefits of Sky involvement?'

Damn! I've been loving Kitchen Confidential. The most recent episode with Michael Vartan in was excellent "We get on so well, you'd almost think we'd worked together before" *snigger*
