I fear a Buffy film would just have the feel of a double episode.
Buffy Films
Its often been said by Joss that hed like to do a new Buffy film after the show ended, but what kind of story would you like them to do, if at all? There wouldnt be and time for all the long character threads we get on TV, so would it ever be anything more than a action packed double episode?

Film 'The Gatekeeper (?) Trilogy'. It's just crying out to be made and would need a big budget.
Okay, would also need some good rewriting to compensate for new characters and the lack of old ones, and plot differentiates, but it could be done and what a film it would make!

Yeah, i would hope it could avoid the X Files movie thing, of just feeling like a double episode with lots more money thrown at it. It couldn't be worse than the first film, though, whatever was done

yes i'd love the see the gatehouse trilogy made into a film..they could rework it i'm sure..i mean they could just get rid of Cordy and Angel and replace their charcters with Spike and Anya...maybe..Oz has to stay!...some of the bits in the books wouldn't work without him. Ok i'm biased i love oz, but i really think this books could work...
i would like to see a movie provided it wasn't done int he style fo the firts movie

I think the book "Immortal" would make a good film, along with the gatekeeper trilogy this is my fave buffy book.
Actually my wonderful sister seems to have stolen it (borrowed is not the word anymore since she's had it over a year.....)

Have just finished 'The Lost Slayer' - would make the perfect movie, not only cos all the Scoobies are in it but has an excellant story too.
Not to give anything away about it - lets just say i reccomend it.
