Has to be in Colin Baker's reign. Davison's last season finished with 'The Caves Of Andrazani' which was one of the best eps and certainly comtained a great regeneration sequence.

Jumping the shark
... to use the modern expression. ie at which point did you become aware that the show was basically past it? I remember hoping, maybe its just a bad year, and itll be better next year for about 6 years, as it slowly spiralled toward cancellation, i think it would be the last year of Peter Davison...
