Nooooooooooooooo! That was one of my favourite new US shows *sulks*
The Nine No More
One of the more promising shows (at least to me) of the new season in america, The Nine has been pulled from the schedules after only a handful of episodes.
The Nine which dealt with the aftermath of a bank robbery turned hostage crisis is the lastest show to face the axe, and while ABC says the show will return later in the year, thats code for 'just maybe we'll show rest of the episodes that have already been made at some point'.
Despite being the show that followed ratings hog Lost, The Nine failed to sustain a decent audience.
This years big trend has been for Prison Break/24 style shows following tense real world situations such as kidnappings. Unsurprisingly they have universally failed to achieve the same level of success as the shows that inspired them.

I was enjoying The Nine, but it wasn't a 'must see' for me so I'm not that bothered. I might not bother watching the rest of the eps I have racked up for now until we find out if they are showing the rest of them.
