apparently, it was due out sept/oct this year, but has been put back to mid-season because they want to re-write an extensive sequence based around a gun battle in a school - apparently some people feel this things are a bit to sensitive, especially after virginia tech.
its not as if its something easily edited out, either.
still, when i saw it a couple of weeks back, i was left feeling almost impressed, especially with the fact that michelle ryan can actually act without screaming and shouting.
and glad to see im not the only geek who shouted "CHIEF!" AT ONE POINT - were there any others i missed?
(apart from mark sheppard, obviously, although i dont think he was ever in BSG...)

Is that not the Sarah Connor Chronicles rather than the Bionic Woman?? I didn't see a gun battle in a school in the version I watched *confused*

ahhh bolloxx - ive had no sleep in 3 days and my nephew is tormenting me, wanting me to go and play football with him - its all merging in to one...

I saw this too and wasnt that impressed. It was moodily shot, and it was nice to see Katee, but I thought Ryan was a bit of a wet blanket.

The explanation for the tech implants was a real stretch for a show that was trying to be present day, it seemed at odds with its futuristic concepts.

I guess the show will live or die on the strength and variety of the missions she gets assigned, maybe Im a pessimist but I dont see this as the next big thing.

True...But I've got faith in the BSG peeps to do something good here. I mean the initial 2 seasons of BSG were great. They just got a bit stuck after dropping them all on that planet but thats for another thread.

I'm hoping they steal some ideas from Alias and that this will be as good as I think it will.

I just caught the first epside of this the other night and have to say I quite enjoyed it. I mean, it was relatively average in a lot of ways, but it had some high points (Katee Sackhoff) and was quite moody.

Certainly think i'll follow it for a while and see how it goes.
