I'll admit to voting for Kilmer though. Keating was all wrong, West destroyed the darkness of Batman, Clooney was ok as Bruce Wayne, but never convincing as Batman, and the cartoon isn't worth mentioning.
I think that Michael Keaton did the role the best out of those who've played the role so far.
He also had the best script and the best director to bring it out to.
I think he captured Wayne's psychological trauma very well. Batman's suit didn't leave much to the acting of any of the fellows, so this really is based on his Bruce Wayne performance.
Burton did the best films by far, and I would have liked to have seen him continue the franchise,in the darker fashion of the first film.

The Burton Batman films are both triumphs of gothic cinema, proving once and for all a blockbuster can be intelligent and sucessful.
We shall not talk about the rest.

I liked Kilmer as Batman...Michael Keaton was good as well but Clooney just sucked..even Uma Thurman wandering around in that little green suit couldn't save that movie.
I'll vote for Clooney for anything, but I had to be honest and say Keaton did it best, although, I'd like to see Cloony back in the tight rubber suit, I'll stop now incase I go and get carried away, and this is a family site.
