I voted for The Great Escape, cos it's just a damn cool film, but it was a tough choice between that and It's a Wonderful Life. I also like The Wizard of Oz, but it's not quite in the same league as the first two.
Bond films I can take or leave, and Miracle on 34th Street I've never seen.

The Wizard Of Oz is my all time favourite movie so I voted for that. Would have chosen The Sound of Music if that had been on there 'tho 'cos we always watched that at Christmas when we were kids
im not realy into the whole "musical" thing. i like a lot of action so i picked bond. if "the long kiss goodnight was there i would have picked that because i think it is one of the best action films about, and it is quite funny in places, like where she pulls the plaster off of samuel l jackson. she opens her top and then pulls and says it is the same principal as deflowering virgins. funny or what
I've never actually seen It's a Wonderful Life or Miracle on 34th Street (either version).
I'm not Scrooge...he was rich

I picked bond, not becoz i like it the best it's just that I think that the wizard of oz is rubbish and what can I say? aren't all girls supposed to love bond?
I used to think that until we had to cover it in American Film Studies at Uni - There are some pretty dubious subtexts and messages you can take away from that film, but I won't go into it here as I don't want to spoil it for everyone.

My fave movie thats in the poll is Wizard of Oz, but my favourite Christmas Movie is Bernard and the Genie - unfortunately it appears that the BBC have deleted it and i'll never have it on DVD
I voted for The Wizard of Oz because I *love* that movie, but my all time favourite Christmas movie is 'White Christmas'.
Yep I can always turn on during any part of Sound of Music and watch the rest of it.

wonderful life is the most depressing xmas movie ever....he wants to kill himself cos his life sucks and he hates it...and nothing changes he goes straight back into he same situation...give me Bond any day!
My favourite Christmas film wasn't included in the list. But at least I have my very own copy of the Muppet's Christmas Carol to watch whilst wrapping my presents!
I think I said bond as the others you have seen hundreds of times, at least with the Bond answer its like a choice of 20 films that they may put on.
Wizard of Oz blows the rest away. Full of material that seeped into modern pop culture. Just call me a friend of Dorothy's...
